If you exceed your plan's rate limits, your API requests will be throttled and return HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) errors. We recommend implementing exponential backoff in your code. To avoid interruptions, monitor your usage dashboard and upgrade your plan before reaching limits. Unused monthly quotas do not roll over to the next month.

We never log or store sensitive data passed through our APIs longer than necessary for processing. You're responsible for keeping your API keys secure - never commit them to public repositories or expose them in client-side code.
Yes, all Forge APIs plans (including Free tier) can be used for commercial projects. However, you cannot resell or redistribute our API services without written permission. If you're building a competing service or need custom licensing terms, please contact us at hello@forgeapis.com to discuss enterprise options.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and debit cards through our payment processor, Stripe. All transactions are processed securely, and we never store your complete payment information on our servers. Payments are charged monthly in USD on your subscription anniversary date.
We offer a 7-day free trial for new customers to test our services risk-free. After the trial period, all payments are final and non-refundable except where required by law. If you experience technical issues or have concerns about billing, please contact our support team at hello@forgeapis.com within 7 days of being charged.
Yes, Forge APIs operates as a data processor under GDPR. You remain the data controller and are responsible for ensuring you have legal basis to submit data to our APIs. We provide data processing agreements (DPAs) for Enterprise customers. We do not store personal data longer than necessary for processing, and we comply with data subject rights requests when properly submitted by data controllers.
While we maintain 99.9% uptime targets, we provide services "as is" without uptime guarantees. We do not offer SLA credits or compensation for downtime on standard plans.
